Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2, 2026 · Effective date: June 2, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SnapCard, a business-card scanning and contact-management service operated by Voltek Systems Inc., a Texas corporation ("SnapCard," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using SnapCard, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use SnapCard.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use SnapCard. If you are using SnapCard on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Your account

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of all contact data you upload to SnapCard (the "Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and process it solely as necessary to operate the service for you.

You represent and warrant that:

5. Pricing and payment

SnapCard is currently offered as:

Optional features (such as sending from your own verified domain) may be designated as "Pro" features and require an active subscription or one-time fee, as displayed in the app. All payments are processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe, and are subject to their refund policies.

6. Service availability

We will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep SnapCard available, but we do not warrant uninterrupted service. SnapCard is provided "as is" and "as available." We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with notice where practicable.

7. AI extraction and accuracy

SnapCard uses third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI) to extract structured contact data from business-card images. AI extraction may make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing extracted data before saving, sending emails to, or otherwise acting on it. SnapCard makes no warranty as to the accuracy of AI-extracted data.

8. Email delivery

SnapCard sends emails on your behalf via third-party providers (currently Resend). Delivery to a recipient's inbox depends on factors outside our control, including the recipient's mail provider, your sender reputation, and the content of your messages. We do not guarantee delivery or that emails will not be marked as spam.

You are solely responsible for the content of emails you send via SnapCard.

9. Intellectual property

The SnapCard name, logo, interface, source code, and all related materials are the property of Voltek Systems Inc. and protected by United States and international intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding except as necessary to access and use the service for its intended purpose.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time from Account → Delete account inside the app. Upon termination, all your content will be permanently deleted.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or for any other reason at our discretion. We will provide reasonable notice where practicable.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SNAPCARD IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOLTEK SYSTEMS INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF SNAPCARD. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Voltek Systems Inc. against any claim arising from (a) Your Content, (b) your breach of these Terms or any applicable law, or (c) emails you send via SnapCard.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email to active account holders and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of SnapCard after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
